Minimalist.ae is a local brand founded in 2016 in Dubai that designs and manufactures elegant, high-quality watches, jewelry, handbags, perfumes, and leather goods designed to enhance personal style. With two stores now open in the UAE, we focus on simple yet sophisticated designs, with specifically our Arabic numeral watches being known for their timeless appeal. Minimalist believes in simplicity and uses only the finest materials to produce beautiful and durable items, combining elegant design with excellent quality.
The Role
As a Creative Director, you will lead the creative vision of the brand across all digital and social media platforms. You will oversee concept development that reflect Minimalist’s brand identity and resonate with our audience. Working closely with the marketing and design team, you will ensure a cohesive visual direction across campaigns, product launches, and brand storytelling.
Responsibilities:
Lead creative direction and oversee all brand visuals across digital and social media channels.
Plan, conceptualize, and execute engaging content for platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.
Oversee video production and editing, from concept to final cut ensuring strong aesthetic consistency and brand alignment.
Manage social media visual strategy, ensuring a consistent and distinctive brand tone.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts for campaigns and product launches.
Stay up to date with emerging digital trends, styles, and content formats.
Supervise creative assets including graphic design, motion, and promotional materials.
Mentor and guide designers, content creators, editors to maintain high creative standards.
Job requirements
As an ideal candidate, you will have:
2–5 years of experience in a social media, content, or brand/marketing, creative direction role in the UAE, ideally in fashion, lifestyle, or eCommerce.
A strong understanding of brand aesthetics and storytelling in the digital space.
Experience managing social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Facebook) and executing content/marketing calendars.
Hands-on experience with Klaviyo, G-Suite, and social media scheduling tools (e.g. Hootsuite).
Experience with Adobe Suite, or other creative tools.
Strong English communication skills (written & spoken); Arabic language skills are a strong plus.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, Visual Arts, Media, or a related field preferred.
